But one of the simple functions that it has is the sleep timer. It might sound simple but it is a very useful feature. Imagine that you are listening to music at night with your earphones on and you want the song to end after a couple of minutes. It is when the sleep timer comes to use. You can stop the music player after 5, 10, 20,… minutes. Additionally, you can also use the sleep timer to play the last song to the end so that it shuts down after a song completes. It’s a very handy feature for those who go to sleep listening to music.
Here are the steps to set and use the sleep timer in Poweramp Music Player:
- Play your favorite song or playlist in Poweramp
- Tap on Sleep Timerย button on the screen
- Drag the slider toward the right
- Confirm by tapping on OK
(a) You can set the sleep timer in the intervals of 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45, 60 and 120 minutes.
(b) Checking the Play Last Song To End will end the playback only after the completion of the final song. It’s won’t stop a song abruptly after a 10-minute timer completes.
(c) Drag the slider toward the extreme left to disable the timer.
