How to Access Equalizer in Apple Music for Android

Once you download and install Apple Music to your Android phone, your Apple Account can be used to access the large music gallery that is available. You will have access to music and radio provided that you are subscribed to one of their plans. Besides streaming music from the internet, the app also provides several tools and options to make your streaming experience better. One of those simple yet effective tools available is the equalizer.

To access the Equalizer in Apple Music:

  • Click on
  • Tap on Settings
  • Tap on EQ under Playback
  • Turn on the equalizer with the slider on the top-right
  • Drag the sliders or pick a preset to make your music sound crunchier
Note that not all devices will have better playback with the equalizer enabled.

The available presets are: Normal, Classical, Dance, Flat, Folk, Heavy Metal, Hip Hop, Jazz, Pop, Rock, FX Booster, and User.

We can also drag the five bands for 60 Hz, 230 Hz, 910 Hz, 4 kHz, and 14 kHz.
